Jared Leto to play Hugh Hefner in Brett Ratner biopic
By Unknown October 08, 2017
Hugh Hefner is an American businessman. He is known as editor-in-chief of Playboy magazine which stood since 1953.
Hefner died on September 27 at the age of 91.
Actually a biopic about Hugh Hefner has been planned for several years. Earlier it was reported that the cast of Iron Man actor Robert Downey Junior was appointed to portray the character.
Director 'X-Men: The Last Stand' Brett Ratner is rumored to have been appointed working on this biopic. Recently Leto has followed the casting process of the film.
"When Jared Leto heard the news that I was getting things to make a movie about Hef, he told me that he wanted to portray Hefner, I really believe Jared can do it," Ratner said.
The Hollywood Reporter also reported last April that Ratner invited Leto to the Playboy Mansion in Holmby Hills, Los Angeles for the premiere of the American Playboy documentary series: The Hugh Hefner Story.
No further information when and what kind of film will be produced. The title for the movie is also undetermined.
