The Reason Why Twitter Do not Delete Controversial Tweet Donald Trump
By Unknown October 07, 2017
Twitter received fierce criticism from its users for letting US President Donald Trump's tweet of North Korea. What is Trump chirping?
Trump : "Just heard Foreign Minister of North Korea speak at U.N. If he echoes thoughts of Little Rocket Man, they will not be around much longer!"
Netizen was immediately respond to Trump chirp that is considered insulting. However, Twitter does not remove the chirp because it is considered to have news value.
This is confirmed directly through the official Twitter account. "We are committed to transparency and keep people informed about what is happening in the world," Twitter said as quoted by Tech Crunch, (26/09/2017).
this is not the first time Twitter has been criticized by users. Twitter is considered too exaggerated for allowing sensitive content to circulate in its timeline.
At that time, Trump had uploaded a GIF photo format that is considered dangerous. The GIF features a golf ball thrown against the back of his political opponent Hillary Clinton.
Users also feel the GIF violates Twitter rules and as if promoting violence. But so far, Twitter still cling to their stance.
