The Iranian Revolution Guards commander warned that US military bases in the Middle East are at risk of an Iranian missile strike if the United States dares to impose new sanctions on Tehran.

In the coming days, President Donald Trump plans to declare Iran not to comply with an international agreement signed in 2015, to restrict its nuclear weapons.

However, Trump then gave Congress 60 days to decide whether to renew economic sanctions against Tehran, or not.
However, Iranian state media quoted Commander Guard Mohammad Ali Jafari as saying on Sunday that if new sanctions were imposed, the United States should move its base beyond the reach of Iranian missiles, up to 2,000 kilometers.

US military bases are known to be located in Bahrain, Iraq, Oman and Afghanistan, all within 500 kilometers of the Iranian border.

Jafari refused to negotiate with the US on regional issues.

He said that if the United States considers the Guards as a terrorist group, then Iran will also consider the US military as a terrorist.

He added that the new US sanctions will close the chance of lasting relations between the US and Iran.

UN nuclear watchdog judge, Iran has complied with the nuclear agreement.

In addition, five other countries in the two-year international agreement have not hinted at wanting to renegotiate.
