In the seaside town of Wonsan, a number of North Korean families staged a barbeque party on the beach, fishing, and eating royal jelly ice cream in the summer. For their leader, Kim Jong-un, the venue is a summer resort, a future 'palace' for tourism, and a missile launch area.Reported by The Straits Times, Wonsan has indeed become a popular tourist destination for families in North Korea to enjoy summer activities. There is also Kim Jong-un to build a number of new buildings, ranging from ski resorts, five star hotels, and airports.
Today, the place that is home to 360,000 people is being built into a multibillion-dollar tourist attraction. At the same time, Kim has also launched 40 missiles from the region."Maybe it sounds crazy for people to launch missiles from places he wants to build economically, but that's how Kim Jong-un runs his country," said North Korean economist Kyungnam University Lim Eul-chul.
