The New Horror Movie From Marvel Comic

Mutant and Horror in one movie? Why not? This is what will be presented in the film The New Mutants. This is the 11th series in the 20th Century Fox X-Men film series.

If the fans of X-Men movie will think this is an action film in general, maybe a little disappointed. But that does not mean the action here is omitted. But the genre of this movie more into the horror thriller genre when viewed from this first trailer.

The New Mutants tells the story of five inexperienced mutant youngsters who are locked up in a secret spot of possibility for research. They fight back with all their ability to save themselves.

Initially producer Simon Kinberg will include some well-known X-Men characters such as Professor X and Storm. Surely will be played by James McAvoy as Prof. X and Alexandra Shipp as Storm. But the plan was void because they wanted to make something different. In this film also the mutant will not wear the costume as in the previous X-Men movies.
The New Mutants director and film writer Josh Boone (The Fault in Our Stars) said he was inspired by some classic horror movies like The Exorcist, Rosemary's Baby and The Shining. Hopefully this movie will bring something completely different in the X-Men series.

The New Mutants film stars Anya Taylor-Joy (Split, The Witch) as Magik, Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones, Doctor Who) as Wolfsbane, Charlie Heaton (Stranger Things, Shut In) as Cannonball, and Henry Zaga (13 Reasons Why) as Sunspot and Blu Hunt (The Originals) who will portray the figure of Danielle Moonstar. Alien Warlock mutants will also appear in CGI form. Alice Braga (Queen of the South, Predators, I Am Legend) also joined to play Dr. Cecilia Reyes who is a mutant who will become the "mentor" of the main characters in this film.

The New Mutants will air on April 13, 2018.
