Deaths from large fires in three counties in northern California, which is a vineyard entry, are on the rise.
Until Saturday (14/10/2017), at least 40 people were killed. The number of deaths increases 10 times from the number of victims at the beginning of this week.
Sonoma County Police Chief said late on Saturday that the coroner had confirmed there were an additional two people dead.
Three counties that suffered the great fire were Soloma, Napa, and Santa Rosa with a total death toll of 40. Sonoma was the worst, with 22 people killed.
The state government of California has deployed all resources, including replicating security officers and a number of helicopters.
The fire that had engulfed the California vineyard center continued to spread wildly after it was added by a strong wind.
More than 5,700 houses were destroyed and about 100,000 people were evacuated. Last week, firefighters have evacuated more than 20,000 people.
