US President Donald Trump created an international crisis following a "dangerous" decision to break Iran's nuclear deal.
The view was expressed by former US Secretary of State John Kerry, who at that time became a figure who negotiated the deal.
"It harming our concerns of US national security and the concerns of our closest allies," Kerry said, Friday (10/14/2017), as quoted by AFP.
Trump has long enough criticized the deal, and wants to take steps to limit Tehran's nuclear program.
In a speech filled with complaints related to the 1979 Islamic Revolution, Trump railed against Iran's dictatorship, the role of sponsoring terrorism, and continued aggression in the Middle East, and around the world.
Trump then threatened to "tear" the 2015 deal. He then quit, and took no procedural steps to declare it.
Trump then left the fate of the deal in the hands of Republican-controlled Congress.
Kerry asked the legislature to say that the stakes are huge for Congress if it happens.
