Losing the ring on the cushion of the couch may be a common thing.
However, unlike experienced couple Justin and Margaret Mussel. They found the missing ring in an unexpected place.
Her proposed marble-bearing rings disappeared when the couple was in Italy, nine years ago.
The couple discovered the jewelry about two weeks ago, at a crack in a sidewalk street in Italy.
They married in 2006. Then, in summer 2008, they visited the Margaret family in San Marco dei Cavoti, a town in southern Italy.
"On the morning of the day, we visited Pompeii and it was very hot," Justin wrote as USA Today wrote."My wife lost her ring, but she did not realize it.""Then when she got home she took a nap, and when she woke up she realized she had lost her ring," he said. After searching all parts of the house, they assumed the ring fell somewhere while in Pompeii.Sure, the couple thought the ring would be gone forever."That's very bad," Margaret said. The ring with a 1.1-carat diamond tied with white gold, has a piece like a royal princess. The ring is actually insured by Justin, but can not be claimed."So if the ring is lost in another country, not in the United States, it can not be claimed, I bought a replacement ring a few years later," Justin said."I never dreamed I would find the ring again," he said. Each returning to San Marco dei Cavoti, Justin saw traffic on the streets, until then his stare was attracted by the flash of light at the crevice of the road. His curiosity arose. He dug a few inches at that point, and that's where he rediscovered Margaret's long lost ring.
