Stephen Paddock, 64, who shot in Las Vegas on Sunday (1/10/2017), has booked a room that leads to another open musical event, which was attended by former President Barack Obama's daughters.
Investigators revealed that there was a reservation for Stephen Paddock at the Blackstone Hotel in Chicago during the Lollapalooza music festival in Illinois.
He did not check in, and a hotel spokeswoman said they could not confirm whether the buyer "was Stephen Paddock" - who fired on people in Las Vegas.
Among the festivities at the festival last August were two former President Barack Obama princes, Malia and Sasha.
According to the investigator, Stephen Paddock had also booked a room at the "Life is Beautiful" festival in Vegas a week before he fired on country music concert protesters that killed 59 people and injured hundreds more.
Even Paddock also had an eye on an event in Boston.
The hotel booking came to light after Sheriff Clark County, Lombardo, that Paddock also booked an apartment in Las Vegas a week before the massacre last Sunday.
The apartment is located in Ogden, a tower building underneath which was an open concert "Life is Beautiful" at the time, featuring a number of prominent musicians such as Muse, Lorde and Chance the Rapper.
While The Boston Globe, citing unnamed officials, reported that Paddock is also known to explore intrnet to see details of Fenway Park and Boston Center for the Arts.
Both locations were some of the last time featuring concerts in the open air.
It is unclear what the attack motivation is and more than 100 investigators are working to uncover how the life of Paddock, who was touted as a "disturbed, dangerous human being."
Stephen Paddock has a "secret life that is largely incomprehensible," Sheriff Joe Lombardo told reporters.
His girlfriend, Marilou Danley - who was outside the US during the incident - said he did not know what Paddock had planned.
The 64-year-old man's motive for firing 59 people and injuring 500 more - the biggest casualty in the shooting incident in US history - remains a mystery.
Police found the retired accountant in a hotel room on the 32nd floor after firing a shot at the audience of a concert on the square opposite the hotel.
He apparently committed suicide by using one of the many weapons found in the room.
In a press conference, Sheriff Lombardo was asked by reporters whether Paddock had planned a fugitive after the attack and he replied, "Yes."
When asked more about the escape plan, Sheriff Lombardo said he could not explain it.
The toll of Paddock attacks is the worst in modern US history.
The journalists also asked whether Paddock had any help in planning or carrying out attacks.
"He may be a superhuman, maybe he works alone for all this, but it will be hard for me to believe that," replied Sherif Lombardo.
The likelihood that Paddock gets help is a shift in the direction of the investigation because shortly after the attack, officials said he was "singly playing" and "fully responsible for his terrible actions".
