Ex US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama, are planning a star-studded meeting in late October.
The event was held as part of their "post-White House" activities, in an effort to support future leaders.
Prince Harry, Gloria Estefan, and Chance the Rapper were among the names who attended a two-day summit in Chicago.
The United Kingdom will "bless" about 500 young community leaders and community activists selected from 20,000 applicants worldwide.
The action is related to the promise of the Obama Foundation to make this event a workshop and intensive opportunity to share ideas.
Meanwhile, Chance the Rapper and Gloria Estefan will be performing in a public concert to close the event.
The meeting in Obama's hometown was organized by Obama's foundation, which also built a library in the first location Obama began his political career.
"The Obama Foundation's goal is to encourage and empower young people to create positive change in their communities."
Said David Simas, CEO of the Obama Foundation, in a statement quoted by AFP.
Among the participants highlighted by the foundation are Trisha Shetty from India.
Shetty started an organization called SheSays to combat sexual harassment of women.
Other notable speakers are Matteo Renzi, former Italian prime minister, and Hamdi Ulukaya, founder of the Chobani yogurt brand.
Chance the Rapper, a socially active, socially-born hip hop artist in Chicago, helps organize concerts closing.
"I want to help inspire and empower young people to change their world," the artist said in an email released by the foundation.
