On Sunday (15/10/2017), former Apprentice contestant, Summer Zervos, asked the court to call Trump to hand over the documents during his presidential campaign last year.
Zervos's lawyer, who is represented by Gloria Allred, as quoted by BuzzFeed, filed this summon file on September 19th.
The French news agency AFP reported that the legal team of Zervos suspected that Trump had been acting indecent to some women during the campaign period.
Later, Trump's legal team is required to respond before the end of October. If not, it could be the 71-year-old president will get forced forcible.Trump's team of lawyers, as quoted by the Independent, attempted to file a motion to thwart the summoning.
Allred also hoped the court would reject him. "So, we can continue the action by looking for documents and relevant testimony," he said.Earlier, November 2016, a week before the election, Zervos stormed the public by testifying that he was the victim of Trump sexual harassment.The abuse occurred when they met at the Beverly Hills Hotel, Los Angeles, to discuss career opportunities together.
